The full-day boat tour to Josephine's Bathtub is perfect for those who like to take their time and lounge in the sun, sand and turquoise waters. Your only decision of the day will be: "Which bath do we want to jump in first?"
This is a guided tour of the Robert and François bays, known for their many Fonds Blancs, including the iconic Baignoire de Joséphine. We will start the day by departing from the port of François, then stop at l’îlet Chancel, Baignoire de Joséphine and a few other majestic Fonds Blancs. We do not have a specific order for our stops, except that we organize the destinations according to those that can have the “least” people for each part of the day.
You'll have plenty of time to jump in the water, swim, snorkel (bring your gear!), sunbathe, explore the mangroves and see the iguanas, and dance on the boat! Finally, we won't let you go hungry during this full-day tour: there will be snacks, refreshments, the captain's signature cocktail, and a delicious local Creole lunch.
Finally, we will end the day by bringing you back to the port between 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m., which will give you time to prepare for your next Caribbean outing.

We will start by leaving the port of François at 9:30 am for a picturesque boat ride along the Atlantic coast of Martinique, heading towards the islets with the clearest waters for your greatest pleasure.

Nous nous dirigerons vers la Baignoire de Joséphine, située entre l'îlet Oscar et l'îlet Thierry. Ce fond blanc d'eau turquoise est unique en raison de son histoire et de sa popularité. Vous y aurez amplement le temps de vous détendre et de nager - c'est également là que vous pourrez déguster des collations et des rafraîchissements!

Ensuite, nous nous dirigerons vers les îlets du Robert, où nous nous rendrons à l'îlet Chancel pour une découverte passionnante de l'iguane délicatissima, une espèce endémique des Petites Antilles, et pour explorer les ruines qui racontent une histoire de la vie d'autrefois en Martinique.

Finally, we will stop at the Baignoire de Trapèze, located off the islet Chancel. This is a small lagoon of turquoise water, perfect for an aperitif before dropping anchor in a white background of islet Madame for a delicious Creole lunch and refreshments.

With the option to depart from Le François in the morning or afternoon, our half-day boat trip to Joséphine's Bathtub is the perfect excursion for those short on time but looking to maximize their stay in Martinique.
We will explore the islets of Le François and Le Robert, with the main stops being our famous island treasures, Baignoire de Joséphine and Ilet Chancel. On Ilet Chancel, you will have the opportunity to explore the mangroves, ruins of Martinique's past and the iguanas, a local protected species. Although this is a shorter excursion, you will still have plenty of time to swim, relax and sunbathe, enjoy refreshments, snacks and cocktails, and finally, we will dance on the boat, the Barracuda Queen!
Itinerary
1.
We will begin by leaving the port of Le François at 9:30 am or 1:30 pm for a scenic boat ride along the Atlantic coast of Martinique, heading towards our first stop.
2.
First, we will head to the Baignoire de Joséphine, located between the islet Oscar and the islet Thierry. This white bottom of turquoise water is unique because of its history and popularity. You will have plenty of time to relax and swim - this is also where you can enjoy snacks and refreshments!
3.
Then we will head to the islet of Robert, where we will go to the islet Chancel for an exciting discovery of the iguana delicissima, a species endemic to the Lesser Antilles, and to explore the ruins that tell a story of life in Martinique in the past.
4.
Finally, we will return to the port for your next adventure!
